A brief recap and clarification regarding the organization changes in Futaba (Futaba RC Facebook post on 2/19/24)
The current “Hobby Radio Control Business Center” in Futaba will be joining the Futaba “Robotics Solution Business Center" as of 4/1/24.
The new Robotics Solution Business Center will now handle hobby radio-controlled products, alongside the industrial servos and drones in the new business center. This change aims to increase synergy effects among our products and streamline development processes. As always thank you for your continued support of Futaba hobby radio-control products.
Rest assured, this will not interfere with sales or operations of the Hobby Radio-control division, as we will continue to provide the high-quality products and service Futaba is known for.

Wie ist eure Einschätzung, wie sich das auf die Hobby RC Produkte auswirken mag?

Ich denke nicht, die haben ja bisher auch die RC-Komponenten mitentwickelt.
Eher ein Vorteil da das Budget eventuell für RC dadurch größer wird bzw. parallel gemacht werden kann.

Wenn ein strategischer Grund für die Zusammenführung vorliegt mag das u.U. helfen Synergien zu nutzen oder Doppelspurigkeiten zu verhindern. Dann könnte es für den RC-Bereich vorteile haben, wobei ich davon ausgehe, dass Robotic Solutions das Kerngeschäft darstellt.
Sollten finanzielle Aspekte den Merge gesteuert haben weil die RC-Division sonst nicht mehr "lebensfähig" wäre, dürfte es im RC Bereich nicht zwingend besser werden.

Ich kenne aber die Organisation FUTABA nicht wirklich. Das sind nur Gefühle, die sich bei mir aus den Beobachtungen der letzten Jahre entwickelt haben. Ich würde mich natürlich freuen, wenn es weiterhin RC Produkte von FUTABA am Markt geben würde.

Aber eben, evtl. gibt es ja dazu noch Meinungen von Personen, welche FUTABA besser und von innen kennen und das besser einordnen können.
